We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Supervisor to join our supermarket team. In this role, you will support daily store operations, lead team members on shift, ensure excellent customer service, and help maintain a clean, organised, and high-performing store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations and assist with opening/closing procedures
- Supervise, motivate, and support team members to meet performance and service standards
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked, displays are tidy, and inventory is managed efficiently
- Resolve customer queries and provide excellent in-store service
- Monitor store safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies
- Assist with training new staff and ongoing team development
- Handle basic cash-up duties and support point-of-sale operations
Requirements:
- Previous retail or supervisory experience (supermarket experience preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
