We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Manufacturing Manager at our Forrestfield facility to lead production operations and drive excellence across planning, delivery, and continuous improvement.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, delivering on customer commitments, and embedding innovation across manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in shaping a high-performing team and supporting the ongoing growth of the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the GM Operations, you will oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met while driving continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and delivery, ensuring on-time outcomes and clear, proactive communication with customers
- Forecast capacity, optimise resource allocation, and monitor progress from order through to completion
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Lean, automation, and innovation to deliver measurable productivity and cost efficiencies
- Maintain quality, compliance, and product integrity, including adherence to ISO 9001 standards and resolution of defects, warranties, and NCRs
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Champion safety leadership, ensuring compliance while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service partners
About You
We are looking for a capable and driven operations leader with a strong background in manufacturing environments. You will bring proven leadership experience and a solid understanding of production and operational planning, ideally supported by formal qualifications and exposure to continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years’ leadership experience in manufacturing or heavy fabrication
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Operations, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of operations management and production planning
- Experience in Lean / Six Sigma (highly regarded)
