Lansdowne Aged Care Facility (ACF) is located at 25 Lovoni Street Cabramatta. The home provides either permanent or respite care as per the resident’s requirements. Caring staff provide the best in professional holistic support, delivering comprehensive clinical care & services focused on helping the aged with specialised nursing, palliative and dementia care.
About the role:
We are hiring casual RN positions (AM/PM/Night Shifts)
Duties may include:
- The upholding of all policies and philosophies of Lansdowne ACF
- Standards of health and welfare of residents and staff performance in maintain such standards
- Liaison with medical, paramedical and other allied health as required
- Initiating improvements in service delivery and professional performance
- Promotion of a positive image of Lansdowne ACF to residents, staff and the public
- Timely completion of all care plans and other documentation required
- Liaison with pharmacy and compliance with Medication policies
- Participating in Lansdowne ACF Quality program
- Other duties as directed by the Clinical Care & Services Manager or delegate
Essential:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated practical experience in managing an aged care environment
- Documentation skills and knowledge of Government Accreditation regimes
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Recommended:
- Additional qualifications in gerontology and / or management would be desirable
- Sound management skills focusing on team-building
- Practical knowledge of accreditation and quality management
- Adherence to good Work Health Safety practices, company policies, infection prevention control, quality and accreditation issues
- Desirable - Fluent in Vietnamese or Chinese
Pay: $44.51 – $52.52 per hour
