Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Baking or Pastry (preferred).
- Previous experience in a similar bakery role is essential.
About the Role
Monday to Friday
1pm to 2pm start (38hr week)
Closed Sundays & Public holidays
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and sheeting puff pastry and shortcrust pastry.
- Preparing savoury products including pies, quiches and sausage rolls.
- Baking cakes, muffins and other bakery products.
- Preparing doughs and assisting with daily production.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
- Managing perishable stock, stock rotation and inventory control.
- Working efficiently to meet daily production schedules while maintaining consistent quality.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold relevant qualifications and/or have proven industry experience.
- Have experience working as a Baker or Pastry Cook.
- Be confident operating a dough sheeter.
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
- Be reliable, flexible and punctual.
- Take pride in producing high-quality products and working as part of a team.
