As the Assistant Village Manager at our Westhaven retirement village, you will build relationships with residents, addressing their needs to enhance satisfaction and engagement with village services. You will coordinate resident activities, assist with village operations, and manage complaints. You will provide concierge services, handle administrative tasks, support resident transitions, and ensure compliance with standards while maintaining village facilities for safety and well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- Builds strong relationships with residents, provides exceptional service to enhance resident satisfaction and experience by promptly addressing their needs, and ensures a high level of engagement with village services and amenities.
- Coordinates resident activities, initiatives, and events to promote an active and connected community lifestyle by preparing the village newsletter, activities calendar, and other relevant communications in consultation with the Village Manager.
- Assists the Village Manager in managing village operations and ensures compliance with the Retirement Villages Act, Code of Conduct, and Accreditation Standards.
- Ensures timely and appropriate resolution of resident complaints, concerns, and suggestions by working closely with the Village Manager.
To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have:
- Genuine passion for interacting with people
- Experience in a front-line customer facing role within the retirement living, business, hospitality, finance, property management, health or related sectors.
- Proficient in Administrative Support, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Facility Management, and Concierge Services skills.
- Excellent Communication, Planning and Prioritisation and Cross-Functional Team Working skills.
