About the Opportunity
Uniting OSHC Greystanes has a long-standing connection with the local community and is a welcoming place where children’s voices are heard and families feel connected.
We’re looking for a Casual Educator with flexible availability to join our friendly team. This is a fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
Our service provides Before and After School Care for up to 120 children.
Our operating hours:
- 7:00am – 9:00am, Monday to Friday
- 2:55pm – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Your work may include:
- Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes
Who we’re looking for
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or Children Services (preferred)
- Experience working in the OSHC industry
- Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
- Completed GECKKO training
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
