We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Hazelwood Pharmacy.
This position includes 22+ hours per week, including 8 hours allocated to the updated Hazelwood Park roster. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy environment.
A valid driver’s licence is required, as the role will also include acting as a backup delivery driver when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with general pharmacy retail and customer service duties
- Operating the POS system and processing sales
- Stock replenishment and merchandising
- Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy staff
- Assisting with prescription-related tasks where appropriate
- Completing local deliveries when required
- Supporting Hazelwood Park roster (8 hours included in weekly schedule)
Requirements
- Previous retail or pharmacy experience is preferred but not essential
- Minimum 22 hours availability per week
- Current driver’s licence (essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to work in a busy retail/pharmacy environment
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Pay: $24.95 – $46.79 per hour
