We are currently seeking an experienced HR Systems Analyst to join us on a 12-month parental leave cover. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant period of Workday enhancement and optimisation, working closely with stakeholders across the business to drive meaningful improvements in our HR systems capability.
Based in North Sydney, and forming part of our People & Performance team, this role plays a key part in delivering a seamless employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
About the role
This is a hands-on and varied role, sitting within our HR shared services function, where you will combine HR operations, systems expertise and data-driven insights.
A key focus over the next 12 months will be building and optimising Workday, making deep, practical experience in Workday critical to your success.
You will:
HR Systems & Workday
Lead the optimisation and ongoing enhancement of Workday to improve system performance and user experience
Support configuration, testing and continuous improvement of business processes
Troubleshoot system issues and provide expert guidance to users across the organisation
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders to build capability and confidence in using Workday
HR Operations & Systems Administration
Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle transactions including hires, changes and terminations
Support contract and letter generation, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery
Provide advice on HR processes, policies and system usage to managers and employees
Data & Reporting
Maintain high standards of data integrity across HR systems
Deliver insightful HR reporting, including dashboards and contributions to board and statutory reporting (e.g. ESG, WGEA)
Analyse trends and provide meaningful recommendations to support decision making
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with internal stakeholders to support onboarding, employee experience and process improvements
Build strong relationships across the business to ensure smooth delivery of HR services
About you
You are a detail-oriented and solutions-focused HR systems specialist who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will bring:
Extensive experience in Workday HCM, including configuration and optimisation
Minimum 5 years’ experience working with HRIS platforms
Strong understanding of HR processes and how systems can drive efficiency and improve outcomes
Proven experience in testing, troubleshooting and system enhancements
Analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Workday Pro certification will be highly regarded.
