In this role, you'll:
You will maintain and assure the quality of strategic, operational, and freight transport foundation models used across the Transport cluster, including the under-development Sydney Activity-Based Model (SAM).
You will maintain and update a central glossary of key models, including baseline assumptions, data sources, model components, platforms, usage frequency, and governance details. This includes establishing these for the SAM.
Support scenario and sensitivity testing and reviewing model governance and control processes.
Assess the suitability of models developed by external vendors or consultants, including the SAM.
Build benchmark or challenge models when required, using best-practice methods.
Prepare and present detailed model validation reports, offering recommendations to model owners and developers.
This is a fixed-term full-time role till 31/05/2027 based at Macquarie Park office.
