About the Role
SBA Property Group is seeking a motivated and professional Real Estate Representative to join our team on a full-time basis in Mitchell, ACT. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sale, lease and management of residential and commercial properties, assisting clients throughout the property transaction process, and ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
This role is suitable for a candidate with strong communication skills, sound property market knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with vendors, buyers, landlords, tenants and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The Real Estate Representative will be responsible for:
- Listing, marketing, selling, leasing and managing properties and businesses.
- Conducting property inspections and advising clients on sales and leasing options.
- Assessing buyer and tenant requirements and matching them with suitable properties.
- Coordinating advertising and promotional activities for listed properties.
- Providing market advice, pricing guidance and property-related recommendations.
- Managing rent collection, tenancy compliance and rental arrears.
- Arranging property maintenance and coordinating repairs or services when required.
- Maintaining accurate client files, property records, listings and transaction documents.
- Ensuring all real estate activities comply with relevant legislative, regulatory and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have:
- Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, or the relevant state-approved entry-level real estate registration or certificate course.
- Current or eligible real estate registration/licence as required in the ACT.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in real estate sales, leasing, property management or a related field.
- Knowledge of real estate sales, leasing and property management processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
- Ability to work professionally with vendors, purchasers, landlords, tenants and internal team members.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of compliance requirements within the real estate industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
