Roster: Casual contract, starting mid-August till November | Working Monday to Friday
Location: Millmerran, QLD
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the outage quality management approach
- Monitor compliance with technical specifications, standards and inspection test plans
- Conduct audits of contractor work practices and quality systems
- Identify, track and drive resolution of defects and non-conformances
- Ensure quality documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide guidance and support to field teams on quality expectations
- Coordinate quality activities across all outage disciplines
- Escalate quality risks that may impact safety, schedule or reliability
- Engage with engineering to ensure technical requirements are understood and achieved
- Monitor trends in defects and rework to identify systemic issues
Essential Requirements:
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience in quality management within outages or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of QA/QC systems, standards and compliance requirements
- Experience with inspection and test plans and audit processes
- Ability to identify and resolve quality issues in a field environment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Ability to influence contractor behaviour and drive quality outcomes
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to operate in a high-pressure outage environment
