Living Gems Developments is seeking an experienced and licensed Excavator & Skid Steer Operator to join our team at our Harris Crossing project.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating excavators and skid steers across our construction site.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Cutting pads to the correct height and specification

Using a laser equipment to achieve nominated levels

Working accurately form profiles
-
Cutting pads to datum points and benchmark points utilising surveyed RL levels and laser equipment

Completing all required pre-start checks on machinery

Carrying out precise excavation
-
Ensuring that the site is always clean and tidy

Following all site safety requirements, policies and procedures.

Working effectively as part of a team.
We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused and proactive operator who takes pride in their work and has the practical skills and experience to contribute effectively to our construction team.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Excavator Licence (essential)

Skid Steer Licence (essential)

Telehandler Licence (preferred)

Construction Industry Card (White Card)

Australian Driver's Licence

Previous experience as a construction labourer

The ability to take direction and proactively understand what is required to complete tasks effectively.

A genuine understanding of, and diligent approach to, site safety and workplace procedures.
