We're looking for a highly organised Project Coordinator to join our team at Garden Island, supporting a major project linked to the Submarine Rotational Force – West initiative.
This is a newly created role where you'll become the glue between project managers, contractors, clients and operational teams. You'll help keep communication flowing, documentation organised and project activities moving forward.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in supporting project delivery by:

Coordinating project documentation, reporting and administrative activities

Scheduling meetings and tracking actions, milestones and deliverables
-
Managing project records and ensuring information remains accurate and up to date
-
Liaising with contractors, project managers, clients and internal stakeholders
-
Supporting reporting, governance and project compliance requirements
-
Following up outstanding tasks and helping remove roadblocks
-
Assisting the team to keep projects running smoothly from planning through to completion
About You
We're more interested in your coordination and stakeholder management skills than your technical background.
You'll ideally have:

Experience in project coordination, project administration or a similar support role
-
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

Confidence engaging with a variety of stakeholders
-
Experience using Microsoft Teams, Outlook and other business systems
-
The ability to juggle competing priorities and stay one step ahead
-
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
-
Experience within construction, infrastructure, maintenance, Defence or technical environments would be highly regarded.

A trade background or project management qualifications are a bonus, but not essential.
Due to the nature of this role, you MUST be an Australian Citizen and able to hold and maintain a Defence Security clearance.
