About Rococo Bébé
Rococo Bébé is a growing luxury nursery furniture and interiors brand specialising in beautifully designed French-inspired cots, dressers and nursery pieces. We are looking for a talented Interior Stylist & Showroom Design Assistant to become an important part of our growing team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is creative, highly organised, detail-focused and able to understand a brand’s vision. We need a fast learner who can take direction initially, quickly understand what is required and gradually take ownership of styling and design-related tasks.
The Role
You will work closely with the founder to maintain and elevate the Rococo Bébé visual identity across our showroom, product development, photoshoots and digital content.
The position is primarily based in our Edmondson Park showroom. Some administrative, sourcing and design work may occasionally be completed from home when suitable and agreed upon; however, applicants must be available to work on-site when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Style and maintain our luxury nursery showroom and room displays• Plan complete nursery settings using furniture, bedding, lighting, curtains, rugs, artwork and accessories• Prepare mood boards, colour palettes and visual concepts• Help select paint colours, timber finishes, fabrics, hardware and product details• Source suitable décor, props, materials and suppliers within an agreed budget• Prepare rooms and products for customer appointments, photoshoots and content days• Assist with styling and creative direction for product photography, videos and social media content• Help ensure all visual content remains consistent with the Rococo Bébé brand• Organise samples, finishes, fabrics, accessories and styling materials• Assist with showroom updates, product launches and incoming collections• Communicate clearly with the founder, team members and suppliers• Follow tasks through from the initial idea to completion• Gradually take ownership of the showroom’s styling and day-to-day visual presentation
About You
- You have a strong eye for detail, proportion, colour and luxury styling• You understand warm neutral interiors, natural textures and refined French-inspired design• You are a fast learner who listens carefully and understands direction• You are proactive and can identify what needs to be done without always waiting to be asked• You are organised, reliable and able to manage several tasks at once• You take pride in finishing work properly and maintaining a high standard• You are confident sourcing products and presenting creative ideas• You are comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively• You can receive feedback positively and refine ideas until they suit the brand• You are willing to help with practical, hands-on showroom styling when required• You have access to reliable transport and can travel to Edmondson Park
Experience
A qualification or current study in Interior Design, Interior Decoration, Styling or a related creative field is preferred. This position may suit a talented graduate or emerging stylist, as well as someone with relevant experience seeking flexible part-time work.
Experience with Canva, mood boards, product sourcing, photography styling or social media content would be highly regarded.
