Carpenter
At CHEYNO PTY LTD, we are looking for a skilled Carpenter to work on a full-time basis (at least 38 hours per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Interpret, read and apply information from technical drawings, specifications, and project instructions.
· Determine quantities of materials needed, prepare work areas and organise tools before commencing tasks.
· Accurately measure, mark out, cut, shape and prepare building materials and components to required dimensions and specifications.
· Build and assemble components that form structural elements such as frames, supports, thresholds and fixtures.
· Install, fit and secure doors, windows, frames, mouldings, cladding, boards and finishes in line with design specifications.
· Carry out on-site modifications and adjustments to ensure the correct fit, alignment and functionality of installed components.
· Inspect and assess existing structures or components, performing adjustment, maintenance or repair work as required.
· Operate hand tools, power tools and installation equipment safely and effectively to complete construction and fitting tasks.
· Ensure completed work complies with project specifications, quality standards and relevant building requirements.
· Maintain a clean, organised and hazard‑free work environment at all times.
· Work collaboratively with other team members to plan work sequences and meet project deadlines.
· Follow workplace health, safety and environmental policies, including proper handling and storage of materials.
· Report progress, material requirements, defects and workplace issues to supervisors or project managers as required.
Requirement:
· Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
· At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
· Able to prioritize tasks, meet project deadlines, and manage multiple carpenter assignments efficiently.
· Positive, proactive, and committed to quality workmanship.
· Drivers Licence

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
