About the role:
Uniting is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join our expanding IT Service Desk team in Parramatta CBD. This Full-time position Fixed term 6 months role will provide first-line IT support to all Uniting staff, ensuring efficient and reliable technology services and assistance to our frontline teams.
Responsibilities:
- Providing remote Tier 1 support through phone, email or ticketing system (ServiceNow)
- Analyse, troubleshoot, resolve, liaise and prioritise incidents, problems and requests.
- Communicating to users the progress of their requests/incidents from receipt to closure.
- Accurate logging of service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work with a variety of support groups to resolve incidents.
Skills and experience:
- Previously worked in a Customer Service, Service Desk, or IT Support role.
- Knowledge or understanding of Information Technology hardware and software theory and practical.
- High level of customer service skills and commitment to addressing customer enquiries.
- Substantial analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience with Ticketing systems and remote support software.
Even better:
- Experience with high volumes, data entry and tight deadlines in a medium to large-scale IT environment
- Ability to accurately identify and classify symptoms and possible causes of problems to
ensure appropriate assignment to specialist areas.
- Ability to manage Service Desk calls and tickets to specified Service Level Agreement time frames.
