About Us
B.O.M. Timber is a growing timber merchant based in Sydney South West, NSW. We pride ourselves on supplying high-quality timber products and delivering exceptional customer service. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated HR Truck Driver to join our team.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Operating an HR truck for local deliveries
- Delivering timber and hardware to construction sites
- Assisting with loading by placing slings and coordinating with forklift drivers
- Use of HIAB crane–equipped trucks (training provided – experience not essential)
- Performing manual handling tasks
- Maintaining truck cleanliness
- Completing daily truck inspection reports and basic maintenance checks (e.g. changing globes)
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid HR Driver’s Licence (required)
- Minimum 2 years’ heavy vehicle driving experience
- Knowledge of load restraint and safe work practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
HIAB crane experience is advantageous but not required – training will be provided.
