About us:
GO.FARM is an Australian-owned, high-conviction agricultural investor, developer and manager with a clear purpose: to transform Australian agriculture.
We identify underutilised and undercapitalised agricultural assets and reimagine them through land use change, investment in people, and adoption of climate-smart technologies. About the role:
We’re looking for a Technical Officer to join our horticulture team, supporting the health and performance of our almond and citrus orchards.

Undertake regular pest and disease scouting across almond and citrus orchards.
- Prepare and circulate monitoring reports and provide recommendations on pest and disease management strategies.
- Monitor, track and record tree phenology and variety trial performance.

- Coordinate and undertake soil and leaf sampling for nutrient analysis.
- Complete technical assessments including fruit sizing, profiling and Brix testing.
- Participate in field walks, consultant inspections and other technical reviews.
- Work closely with orchard teams to support best-practice horticultural management.
- Maintain accurate technical records and communicate emerging issues and trends to the Senior Agronomist and operational teams.
- Support high standards of farm hygiene, biosecurity, safety and environmental compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve technical practices, systems and ways of working.
- Build strong relationships with employees, contractors, consultants and other external stakeholders.
- Other duties as required.
About you:
You’re naturally curious, enjoy being out in the field and like turning observations into practical solutions. You take pride in doing things well, communicate clearly and are comfortable working closely with both operational and technical teams.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
-
A relevant qualification in agriculture, horticulture, agronomy or a related discipline.
- A sound understanding of horticultural pest and disease identification and management.
- Strong observation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
