About the Role
We're looking for an energetic, reliable floor staff member to join our café team. You'll be the face of our café - greeting and seating customers, running food and drinks to tables, maintaining cleanliness of the cafe and making sure every guest feels looked after. This role suits someone who enjoys people, works well under pressure, and takes pride in great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers, and explain ordering options (QR code or counter)
- Run food and drinks out to tables promptly and accurately
- Check in with tables to ensure a great experience and handle any feedback or complaints on the spot
- Clear plates and reset tables promptly, maintaining a clean dining area
- Restock cutlery and service stations throughout shifts
- Maintain cleanliness of the floor, including regular cloth changes and table wipe-downs
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Work as part of a team, helping wherever the floor needs support during service
What We're Looking For
- Previous café or hospitality experience preferred
- Friendly, customer-first attitude who always wear a smile
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Available to work weekends and early mornings
