The Opportunity: We’re hiring
Experienced and Trainee Laboratory Technicians to join our team in
Luscombe (Upper Gold Coast). No experience? No worries –
full training is provided!
You’ll be working on-site at a quarry, carrying out aggregate and concrete testing for one of our major clients, as part of Construction Sciences – Australia’s leading construction materials testing company.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be testing construction materials like aggregate and soil, operating lab equipment, recording data, and helping ensure safe and accurate results every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Testing samples using lab equipment and machinery
- Data entry and calculations on a computer
- Manual tasks (lifting 10-20kg), and working on your feet
- Some Saturday work and overtime as needed
About You:
We’re looking for people who are:
- Interested in a career change or just starting out
- Safety-focused and physically fit
- Flexible with shift work, including early starts and occasional weekends
- Happy to work in a quarry and in dusty environments
- Reliable and willing to learn
You’ll Also Need:
- A current Australian driver’s licence (manual preferred)
- White Card (or willing to obtain quickly)
- To be an Australian/NZ citizen or permanent resident
- To live locally in Australia
