Experienced Automotive Mechanic
Torquay Auto Service is a busy, family-owned workshop with over 30 years of trusted service in the Surf Coast region. We're looking for a qualified and Automotive Mechanic to join our team.
This is a full-time position (38 hours/week) Mon-Fri 830am-5pm, offering above award wages and a great work-life balance in a supportive, well-established business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Performing scheduled maintenance and vehicle servicing to the highest standards
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical issues using modern diagnostic tools
- Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and teammates
- Keeping accurate service records and ensuring safety standards are always met
- Staying up to date with evolving automotive technology and practices
What We're Looking For
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- A current, valid driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Proven experience as an auto service technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A keen eye for detail and pride in your workmanship
- Friendly, reliable, and a great team player with good communication skills
