About Us
We are a rapidly growing hostel and hospitality group operating six properties across Australia and one international property in Guatemala. Our business accommodates thousands of guests each month and employs over 100 staff across operations, reservations, finance, marketing and customer service teams. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an ICT Business Analyst to support the implementation, integration and optimisation of business systems across our group.
The Role
Reporting to the Directors, the ICT Business Analyst will analyse business processes, identify technology improvement opportunities and deliver system solutions that improve operational efficiency, financial reporting and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse existing operational and financial business processes across multiple properties.
- Gather and document business requirements from management and operational teams.
- Design and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and reporting.
- Lead business system implementation and integration projects.
- Develop dashboards and management reports using operational and financial data.
- Analyse occupancy, revenue, labour and performance metrics to support decision-making.
- Coordinate with software vendors and third-party technology providers.
- Develop functional specifications and business process documentation.
- Train staff in the use of new business systems and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
- Support system upgrades, testing and deployment activities.
- Ensure consistency of business processes across all properties.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, ERP Consultant or similar role.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and business documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP, finance or hospitality management systems highly regarded.
- Experience delivering end-user training and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
Desirable
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
- Experience in hospitality, accommodation or tourism industries.
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence platforms.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
