Oatley Licensed Post Office (LPO) is an independently owned Licensed Post Office. We provide a comprehensive range of Australia Post services to our local community and business customers, including parcel and mail services, passport applications, identity services, banking services and retail products.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused team member to join our Post Office. This role involves delivering outstanding customer service while accurately processing a variety of postal, retail, financial, and identity-related transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept mail and parcel lodgements and accurately assess applicable postage and service charges.
- Process cash, cheque, credit card, and EFTPOS transactions, including high-value transactions, with a high level of accuracy.
- Assist customers with passport applications and electronic identity verification services.
- Provide retail sales support, product recommendations, and maintain attractive merchandise displays.
- Handle customer information confidentially and maintain accurate records.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, and prepare outgoing mail for dispatch.
- Contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of the Post Office while maintaining high standards of customer service.
About You

- The ability to obtain and provide a National Police Check.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency and eligibility to undertake Australia Post Passport and Electronic Identity Services (EIS) accreditation and training.
