We’re excited to be recruiting motivated Production Chefs to join our Fresh Grab & Go team, supporting daily food production for multiple stores across Brisbane Airport. As a Production Chef, you’ll prepare and produce fresh food items to consistently high standards. Working closely with our Executive Chef and Foodservice team, you’ll help deliver great-tasting products, maintain kitchen excellence, and support daily operational targets.
- Day shifts 6:00AM starts at the airport (Start early finish early!)
- Flexibility to work some weekends but can discuss with the right candidate
What You’ll Do
✅ Prepare and produce food items in line with recipe cards and brand standards
✅ Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
✅ Manage ordering, stock levels, and support waste-reduction processes
✅ Support production across Fresh, Bakery, Hot Food, and Coffee categories
✅ Collaborate with store teams to ensure smooth daily operations
✅ Assist with basic reporting and production data
✅Uphold food safety, OHS, and airport compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
✅ Experience in kitchen production or fresh food environments
✅ Ability to follow recipes, portioning, and quality guidelines
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
✅ Great communication skills and a collaborative working style
✅ Understanding of stock control, waste management, or labour systems (advantageous)
✅ Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

This position is classified as Level 5 Grade 4 under the Restaurant Industry Award (RIA), and remuneration is aligned accordingly.
