I'm looking for an experienced freelance Technical Product Manager or Technical Project Coordinator to help oversee the development of a new web platform being built by an established overseas software development company.
This is not a coding role. The development team is already in place. Your role is to help ensure the project is delivered correctly, communicate my requirements clearly, review completed work, and protect my interests throughout the build.
Responsibilities
- Review my feature list and suggest improvements or identify missing requirements.
- Attend Zoom meetings with myself and the development team when required.
- Help communicate my vision clearly to the developers.
- Ask technical questions to ensure everyone understands the agreed functionality.
- Review completed features and provide quality assurance before approval.
- Assist with the final handover of the platform, and admin access.
- Be available for occasional support after launch on an hourly basis if required or possible a support ongoing agreement
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with web application or SaaS development projects.
- Strong communication skills with remote software development teams.
- Experience reviewing software specifications and testing completed work.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in plain English.
Coding experience is not essential, but a strong understanding of software development processes is important.
Engagement
- Approximately 20–30 hours during the development phase.
- Meetings will generally be conducted via Zoom.
- Ongoing support may be available after launch on an hourly, as-needed basis.
Pay: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour
