Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Community Resilience Officer. The successful candidate will assist with the coordination of planning, implementation and ongoing review of Council’s emergency management responsibilities in accordance with the Emergency Management Act and State Emergency Management Plan and Municipal Emergency Management Plan.
Reporting to the Manager Bushfire Recovery, the role also includes responsibility for provides support to the Municipal Emergency Management Officer (MEMO) and Municipal Recovery Manager (MRM) and the Municipal Emergency Management Planning committee (MEMPC) with the delivery of their legislated roles and responsibilities, in relations to the AGRN 1242.
Remuneration will be based on Band 5 Level A classification $76,917.88 per annum ($38.9261 per hour), plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.
