The Administration Officer Quilpie, Western Queensland, provides a high standard of administrative support to the different functional areas of the Quilpie Multipurpose Health Service, South West Hospital and Health Service (SWHHS).
This position is accountable for promoting good public relations with the general community and both internal and external customers of the Hospital and Community Health Centre.
This position is located in a Hospital Based Ambulance site, you will be required to:
Provide pre-hospital emergency first response duties to community (outside of clinic environment).
Participate in the on-call roster to provide 24hr pre-hospital emergency first response using the hospital-based ambulance or first-response vehicle.
Complete all the core and role mandatory training requirements as per SWHHS Mandatory Training Matrix within the required timeframes.
This position may require operation of a patient retrieval vehicle (4WD) which requires a 'C'-Class Manual Drivers Licence. An appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty and be updated as licence expires.
