WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
On-Site · Casual Positions Available · Day & Night Shifts - Event Labourer Cirque du Soleil — KOOZA Big Top
You'll be working under the supervision of our site director on the full setup and pack-down of the KOOZA Big Top. All work is mainly physical and hands-on. All staff must hold a valid white card or be willing to obtain at own cost. You must also ensure that you have your own PPE such as hard-hat and steel cap boots to wear during every shift.
- Lifting, carrying and installing metal bleacher and chair structures
- Assembling metal and aluminium tent structures
- Handling and positioning canvas tent sections
- Installing floor panels, ramps, handrails and guardrails
- Setting up distribution (distro) boxes and HVAC ducting (ladder work involved)
- Loading and unloading trucks to schedule
- Pulling, rolling and unrolling feeder cables and canvas
- General cleaning and site upkeep duties
Safe Lifting Applies at All Times: The maximum individual carry is 20 kg. Anything heavier is always a team lift — no exceptions. We look after our crew.

- Available for day or night shifts as rostered

- Punctual, dependable, and ready to get stuck in
- Hold a valid white card certificate or willing to obtain
BONUS SKILLS
Nice to Have (Not Essential)
- Experience with tent erection, grandstand assembly, or temporary structure builds
- Trade skills in plumbing, construction, or general building
- Knowledge of safe loading practices and local transport regulations
- Familiarity with truck weight limits, height restrictions and load strapping standards
- Additional licences/ certificates such as EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights etc,

Pay: $34.96 – $48.95 per hour
