FirstClass.com.au is a specialist luxury agency. We are seeking a highly technical Airfare Specialist to handle our after-hours enquiries, emergency support, and airfare product maintenance.
The Roadmap to Remote: We prioritize high standards. This role follows a structured path to autonomy:

Initial Phase: Full-time training in our Sydney CBD office to master our systems and process.

Intermediate Phase: Transition to weekly/fortnightly office attendance once proficient.

Advanced Phase: Ongoing training as required, moving toward a hybrid/remote work structure.
The Role:

Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact for after-hours flight changes, cancellations, and urgent re-routing.

Strategic Consulting: Service high-end luxury product requests and premium airfare enquiries.

Team Support: Assist our daytime team with quotes and support tasks.

Airfare Administration: Utilize “quiet" periods to assist with airfare management, database tasks, and product maintenance.
You Are:

An Amadeus Expert: You know your way around a GDS. Manual reissues and complex fare rules are second nature to you, especially for international First and Business Class fares.

A Resourceful Problem Solver: You are a creative, quick thinker who stays calm under pressure. You don’t just see a “cancelled" flight; you find the alternative path before the client even calls.

Meticulously Detail-Oriented: In luxury travel, the small things matter. You take pride in precision and error-free work.

Client-Centric & Solution-Focused: You genuinely care for the customer. Your goal is to find the best possible solution at the most competitive cost, ensuring the client feels valued and protected.

Sydney Based: You must be able to commute to our Sydney CBD office for initial training and ongoing catch-ups.

Experienced: Minimum 2+ years in flight reservations and 3+ years in high-level customer service.

Accountable: You thrive in an environment of direct communication and high professional standards.
