Queensland Government Insurance Fund (QGIF) is seeking a dynamic and innovative Manager, Training and Business Improvement to lead the development of workforce capability across the organisation. In this strategic leadership role, you will design and implement a contemporary learning and development framework that supports current and future business needs while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and professional growth.
Working within a unique government insurance environment, you will partner with leaders and stakeholders to deliver impactful learning solutions, strengthen organisational capability and drive business improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development and implementation of a contemporary learning and development framework that supports capability uplift, onboarding and succession planning.
Design and deliver engaging blended learning programs that build technical, professional and leadership capabilities across the organisation.
Provide expert advice and thought leadership on learning, organisational development, workforce capability and business improvement.
Drive the development of business management practices, process documentation, training resources and operational guidance materials.
Identify and implement innovative capability development initiatives aligned with current and future workforce priorities.
Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to design, deliver and evaluate capability-building programs and services.
Monitor emerging trends and best practice approaches to learning, development and organisational effectiveness.
What experience you will bring:
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing successful learning and development frameworks.
Proven capability delivering blended learning programs that support organisational objectives and business improvement initiatives.
Experience designing and delivering high-quality training programs and learning solutions.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
A passion for innovation, capability development and creating positive workforce outcomes.
The ability to think strategically and translate organisational priorities into practical workforce development initiatives.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
