About the Role
We have an exciting new position that has become available at Deborah Cheetham in Ocean Grove as a Baker with some Cafe Assistant duties involved as well. This is a Part time position working Sunday -Wednesday 0700-1500.
Our Bakers at Ryman wear more than just their baking hat. In this role you will:
- Greet our friendly staff who are looking for their 9am caffeine hit
- Serve our residents their favourite sweet treat after their morning exercise class
- Prepare delicious focaccias for guests who visit our onsite café to catch up with their loved ones]
- Bake and cook a wide selection of cabinet food for our on-site café to delight our customers and promote a welcoming atmosphere at the village
Baking has never been so rewarding!
About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
- Passion for baking and cooking home style goods
- Barista / patisserie / cookery qualifications desired - but not essential for the right candidate
- Ability to work independently to the highest standards
- Great customer service and communication skills
