About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Truck & Quad Trailer Driver to join our operations team. This role involves the safe and efficient transport of bulk materials to customer sites while maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate truck and quad trailer combinations safely and efficiently
- Deliver bulk products to construction, commercial, and residential sites
- Conduct daily pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure loads are secure and compliant with NHVR regulations
- Accurately follow delivery instructions and double-check delivery addresses
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, issues, or site access
- Maintain cleanliness and general presentation of vehicle and equipment
- Report mechanical faults, incidents, or near misses promptly
- Comply with all workplace health, safety, and fatigue management requirements
Skills & Experience
- Valid HC licence with roadranger experiance
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating truck and trailer combinations
- Minimum 5 years’ experience driving Road Ranger (constant mesh) gearboxes
- Strong understanding of load restraint and heavy vehicle regulations
- Experience delivering to varied sites, including tight or restricted access areas
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Desirable (but not essential)
- Quarry or bulk material transport experience
- Familiarity with electronic job systems or driver apps
- Basic mechanical knowledge
