MLHD is recruiting Registered Nurses with an interest or experience in Perioperative Nursing at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
- Completion of a Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent or working towards
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to build respectful relationships with patients, carers, families and colleagues
- Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate safe, evidence-based care in a dynamic perioperative environment of admissions, anaesthetics, scrub/scout and recovery nursing.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
About Us
Wagga Wagga Health Service provides services including critical care, medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric, and rehabilitation care. The facility also provides mental health and community health services. A team of specialists support the service which include cardiovascular, gastroenterology, renal medicine, obstetrics, orthopaedics, psychiatry and paediatrics.
There is also the provision of a full range of allied health and support services such as oral health, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sexual health and violence prevention and response services.
