City Venue Management (CVM) is looking for a Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team at Settlement Cove Lagoon.
Our food truck keeps hungry swimmers and families fuelled throughout the day, and we're looking for someone who can jump in, get the food out quickly and provide great customer service along the way!
What You'll Be Doing

Preparing and cooking food, including deep-fried menu items

Taking customer orders and processing payments through POS and EFTPOS
-
Serving food and drinks with a friendly and positive attitude
-
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
-
Keeping the food truck stocked, organised and ready for service
-
Working efficiently during busy periods when the queues are flowing
-
Following food safety, OHS and venue procedures
-
Helping with general cleaning and other duties to keep the food truck running smoothly

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:

Enjoys working with people and providing great customer service

Is comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

Can confidently prepare food and is comfortable using a deep fryer

Has a strong focus on food safety, hygiene and cleanliness

Is reliable, punctual and happy to get stuck in

Can work independently while also being part of a team

Has a positive attitude and plenty of energy

Enjoys working around children, families and the wider community

Previous food service, hospitality or kitchen experience is preferred, but we're happy to consider people who have the right attitude and are keen to learn.
Qualifications & Requirements

Current Paid Blue Card or willingness to apply prior to commencing

I'm ALERT Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete the free online course

Previous food preparation or hospitality experience is desirable

Must be comfortable working with a deep fryer and preparing hot food

Food safety knowledge and a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
