ROYAL KHALSA PTY LTD trading as ROYAL KHALSA BAKERY is looking for a Baker and Pastrycook to support its bakery operations.
ROYAL KHALSA BAKERY is a well-established bakery business located in Craigieburn, Victoria, specialising in a wide range of traditional and modern bakery products, breads, pastries, cakes, and sweets. The business is committed to delivering high-quality baked goods and providing excellent customer service within the local community.
To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant qualification and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Key Responsibilities:
; excellent skills in cake masking and piping skills
· Prepare, mix, knead, and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and baked products.
· Measure and combine ingredients according to recipes and production requirements
· Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, toppings, and pastry products
· Operate bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, and baking machinery safely and efficiently
· Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure product consistency and quality
· Decorate cakes and pastries using creams, glazes, icings, and other toppings
· Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and food safety standards are met
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
· Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering bakery ingredients and supplies
· Follow Occupational Health and Safety procedures and safe food handling practices
· Assist in developing new bakery and pastry products to support business operations
Skills and Experience:
· Relevant qualification in Bakery or Pastry
· Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
· Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment
· Strong attention to detail and food presentation skills
· Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
