TORO NERO, a vibrant Italian restaurant in Mona Vale, is looking for a Front Of House Supervisor / Head Waiter to join our team. If you’re passionate about hospitality, have strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role:
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a similar role (e.g., senior waiter, head waiter, assistant manager).
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and well-presented with excellent English communication skills.
- Confident in team leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- A strong work ethic with a focus on exceptional customer service - must be able to build genuine relationships with guests.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
- Basic cocktail-making skills are a plus, but training can be provided.
- Full training from our current manager or owner will be provided.

Hours & Requirements:
- Restaurant opening hours: Monday – Sunday, 4:30 pm – 10:00 pm.
- Part-time/casual role for an Assistant Manager / Head Waiter, approximately 28 - 35 hours per week (set days, 5 or 6 nights per week).
- Must be available Friday and Saturday nights. Also must be available during summer peak season and most public holidays.
- RSA required.
- Pay will be discussed during the trial period and will depend on experience, age and skill level.
