As a Case Officer you will be responsible for a portfolio of active referrals and will co-ordinate the entire process from receipt of a new referral until it is fully completed and delivered to our clients. The referral process includes, reviewing new referrals, liaising with clients, assembling documentary materials, reviewing draft reports by our specialist consultants and co-ordinating the on-time finalisation and delivery of those reports.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Experience and working knowledge of personal injury or Workers Compensation or CTP or Life Insurance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, plan and organise tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify errors in written reports
- An ability to work well with specialist consultant and experts to revolve problems
- A customer focussed approach to tasks and a willingness to listen to client requirements and work to achieve them
- Good computer skills in Microsoft office and a willingness to learn new our practice management system.
- Experience with vocational and functional assessments or expert reports is not essential but highly valued
This role would suit an organised, detailed oriented person with experience in quality assurance, claims management, or rehabilitation. Key challenges involve the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure reports are submitted to clients on time. There is no requirement to deal with claimants or workers in this role.
Your hours will be 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. While the position will commence in our Sydney CBD/Haymarket office there is the potential for work from home as your induction progresses.
