ABOUT US
Flowcrete are an established manufacturer of truck mounted, line and trailer pumps to the concrete pumping industry of Australia and New Zealand.
We are looking to employ a mechanically minded (preferred but not essential) individual for the position of Store Person & Warehouse Maintenance. You will need to display a satisfactory level of computer knowledge along with proven ability to interpret parts efficiently (preferred but not essential) while instilling confidence in our customer service division to pick & pack deliveries/arrivals of stock.
JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
- Ensure all spare parts are available as required by the Service Team and our Customers.
- Coordinate the storage and allocation of spare parts to the Service Team.
- Dispatch of spare parts to customers and branches using appropriate couriers.
- Occassional collection &/or delivery of parts (manual drivers licence an advantage)
- Unpack all stock arrivals.
- Sort & store into appropriate areas & please note this does involve manual handling & physical work of lifting/moving up to 20kg.
- Maintain stock levels.
- Use our internal system in all invoicing and transferring transactions, when required.
KEY SKILLS
· Tertiary, trade or or minimum two years experience in a similar position
· Computer skills, with an ability to learn quickly
· Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
· The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
KEY ACTIVITIES
· Monitor spare part stock and coordinate new orders with the Purchasing Officer
· Carry out invoicing using our ERP system, when required.
· Ensure all parts are dispatched are as per customer or branch orders.
· Issuance of parts to the Service Team.
· Minimise ‘out of stock’ situations, with continuous monitoring of stock
· Ensure store is tidy and clean and maintained to a high standard of organisation
