Henry's Bakery is looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Bread Baker to join our team full time. This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking to start a hands-on career in the baking industry.
You'll work alongside experienced bakers, learning traditional bread-making techniques while completing a nationally recognised apprenticeship through TAFE.
What you'll do
- Learn the art of bread baking from experienced professionals.
- Mix, shape, proof and bake a wide range of artisan and everyday breads.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised bakery.
- Work as part of a supportive and friendly team.
- Attend two TAFE workshop/assessment days per semester at Kingscliffe, with the remainder of your training completed on the job.
Hours
Roster options:
- Monday to Friday: 3:00am – 11:00am
- Tuesday to Saturday: 3:00am – 11:00am
Salary
Applicants who have NOT completed Year 12
- Monday to Friday: $35,000 per year
- Tuesday to Saturday: $37,000 per year
Applicants who HAVE completed Year 12
- Monday to Friday: $38,000 per year
- Tuesday to Saturday: $40,500 per year
