DecoRug Warrawong is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Casual Sales Assistant to join our team.
We sell a wide range of home improvement and home styling products, including rugs, carpet, flooring, window furnishings, shutters, curtains and blinds. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with customers, has an interest in interiors or home products, and is confident helping people choose the right products for their home.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in-store
- Help customers choose rugs, carpet, flooring and window furnishing options
- Provide product information and basic advice based on customer needs
- Follow up with customer enquiries and quotes
- Support the team with sales, orders and general store duties
- Keep the showroom clean, organised and well-presented
- Assist with merchandising and product displays
- Work towards sales targets and deliver a high level of customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred
- Experience with rugs, flooring, carpet, blinds or home products is highly regarded
- Confident speaking with customers and building rapport
- Reliable and available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Well-presented, positive and professional
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn about our products and sales process

Pay: $24.95 – $41.17 per hour
