In addition to its café operations, the business includes bakery, kitchen, coffee roasting and distribution functions. THE ROLE
MAKER Coffee is seeking an experienced and motivated Accommodation and Hospitality Manager to join our management team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of one or more hospitality venues, ensuring the efficient management of staff, customer service, financial performance and operational compliance.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Managing the daily operations of the venue to ensure efficient and profitable performance;
- Supervising, leading and developing hospitality staff, including Managers, Supervisors, Baristas and other venue personnel;
- Preparing and managing staff rosters and workforce planning requirements;
- Monitoring labour costs, operating expenses and venue budgets to achieve business objectives;
- Managing stock ordering, inventory control and supplier relationships;
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and resolving customer feedback and complaints;
- Implementing and monitoring workplace health and safety procedures and company policies;
- Training, mentoring and developing staff to maintain service and operational standards;
- Monitoring venue performance and identifying opportunities for operational improvement and business growth; and
- Reporting to Directors and senior management regarding venue operations, staffing requirements and business performance.
THE PERSON
The successful applicant will have a minimum of two years' experience in a hospitality management role and possess strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Relevant hospitality, management or business qualifications will be highly regarded. Applicants without formal qualifications must demonstrate sufficient relevant industry experience.
You will receive an attractive remuneration package of between $70,000 and $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on your skills, qualifications and experience.
