We are seeking qualified and experienced Horticulturalist to join our Landscape Services team. In this role, you’ll operate machinery and manage traffic control across Council parks and open spaces while lead crews to deliver safe and high-quality work.
What you will do
- Lead crews or work independently to deliver tasks safely and efficiently
- Provide guidance and support to team members
- Ensure work quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
- Follow WHS, traffic control, and site safety procedures
- Identify hazards and complete required site checks
- Respond to emergencies and urgent work requests
- Communicate clearly with residents and represent Council professionally
About you
- Cert III in Parks & Gardens, Horticulture or Landscape
- Previous experience working as a Landscaper
- Computer literate
- SafeWork NSW white card
- Current MR Licence as required.
Desirable
- Current “Chem Use” accreditation OR willingness to obtain during probation period
