Role Overview
This role focuses on moving, placing and setting up staging furniture — not traditional removalist wrapping or heavy-duty packing. You’ll assist stylists on-site, handle furniture safely, and help create beautiful, market-ready spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely lift, carry and move furniture and décor
- Load and unload items with care (no rough handling)
- Assist stylists with placing furniture, artwork and accessories
- Light assembly (beds, tables, lamps, etc.)
- Keep the warehouse and vehicle organised
- Work professionally in client homes and with real estate agents
- Support stylists to achieve the final look of each property
Requirements
- Experience in removalist work, furniture delivery or labouring preferred
- Physically fit and able to lift safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Car licence is a bonus, but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to support stylists
- Comfortable working across Melbourne suburbs
Nice to Have
- Experience with home staging or interior styling
- Basic tool skills (drills, Allen keys)
- Ability to follow visual direction from stylists
