We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed IB Chemistry Teacher to join our Secondary School on a permanent part-time basis (9 hours per week), with an immediate start.
You will teach Years 11 and 12, supporting students through their IB Chemistry studies and preparing them for their International Baccalaureate examinations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality Chemistry lessons in accordance with the IB curriculum
- Teaching and supporting students in Years 11 and 12
- Preparing students for their IB examinations and assessments
- Creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and academic excellence
- Collaborating with colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing
- Contributing positively to the multicultural and collaborative life of the school
- Teaching across different subject areas would be an advantage

Remuneration in accordance with the Independent Schools NSW/ACT Standards Model Multi-Enterprise Agreement (MEA). The full-time base salary range is $94,155 – $133,009 AUD per annum, with remuneration for this position paid pro rata based on the hours worked.
Skills and Experiences:
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about Chemistry, committed to student success and comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience
- Proven experience teaching IB Chemistry, particularly at Years 11 and 12 level
- Native-level English proficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A commitment to high educational standards and student achievement
- The ability or willingness to teach across different subject areas would be highly regarded
