Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised, outgoing, and professional experienced Retail Sales & Studio Administrator to be the face of our shop. You will be the vital link between our talented artists and our clients, ensuring every person who walks through our doors has a seamless and welcoming experience.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Casual (25+ hours per week), with the opportunity to transition into a part-time employment for the right candidate
- Availability: Weeknights, weekends, and public holidays required
- Location: Westfield Carousel
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and professional first impression by greeting and welcoming all clients
- Manage front-of-house operations to ensure a smooth and positive studio experience
- Handle in-person, phone, and online enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Follow up on leads and provide accurate tattoo quotes
- Assist clients in selecting the right artist based on style and requirements
- Manage bookings using the studio scheduling system, including appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling
- Oversee client check-in processes and ensure all consent forms and waivers are completed correctly
- Clearly explain the tattoo process and provide detailed aftercare guidance
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all shared areas in line with health and safety protocols
Additional Responsiblities
Based on successful studio models, this role also includes:
- Process payments using POS systems and manage daily cash handling, banking, and invoicing
- Respond to enquiries across social media platforms (e.g. Instagram and Facebook)
- Manage basic social media content updates is required and prior social media content management experience is desirable
- Monitor and restock retail products and front-of-house merchandise supplies
- Support artists by handling administrative tasks and minimising interruptions during their sessions
Requirements & Skills
- Highly organised with the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach
- Genuine interest in tattoo culture; prior industry experience is highly regarded
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and professional workspace
- Must have unrestricted Australian working rights

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
