Undertakes complex evidence-based decision making in accordance with the Act.
Deliver quality and responsive services to clients through the application of VAQ resources, policies, processes, systems and technologies.
Effective case-management of applications for financial assistance, including accurate record-keeping, meeting objectives and progressing work within legislated timeframes.
Maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders, including other departmental business units and the non-government sector, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of VAQ services.
Undertake comprehensive analysis and provide advice to the Executive Manager, Policy and Projects on operational policy and legislative issues relating to VAQ service delivery.
Conduct relevant research related to victims of crime and maintain up to date and in-depth knowledge of the Act and other relevant legislation.
Represent VAQ at Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) hearings.
Applications to remain current for 12 months.
