We are seeking a highly skilled AI Agent Engineer to join our cutting-edge engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, deploying, and supporting sophisticated AI agents specifically designed to completely transform and streamline the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and take complex business processing to the next level.
Building agentic systems requires a unique engineering mindset. We are moving far beyond simple coding assistants or basic chat interfaces—this role operates at the absolute cutting edge of AI tooling. You will architect and build a suite of intelligent, autonomous agents, heavily leveraging Anthropic’s Claude, to speed up everything from code generation and review to infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

You will orchestrate complex workflows involving multiple steps, handling the unique challenges of dynamic tool use, multi-agent orchestration, and non-deterministic behaviours in a live enterprise environment. - SDLC Acceleration: Design and implement agentic tooling specifically aimed at streamlining the SDLC, removing bottlenecks, and drastically speeding up the software delivery pipeline.
- Agent Architecture & Development: Design and build sophisticated, multi-agent systems and cloud-native microservices using your preferred modern programming language.
- Claude & Advanced LLM Orchestration: Utilise Anthropic’s Claude to construct complex agentic workflows, memory management systems, and dynamic tool use (function calling) capabilities.
- Solve Real-World Problems: Work directly with various business divisions to map out complex real-world processes and translate them into autonomous or semi-autonomous agent workflows that significantly increase operational productivity.
- Non-Deterministic Engineering: Architect solutions that account for the probabilistic nature of agentic systems. Implement robust error handling, self-correction loops, and graceful degradation for when agents hallucinate, loop, or encounter edge cases.
- Production Support & Observability: Monitor, support, and debug live agent systems. This includes tracing complex reasoning chains, tracking prompt drift, and analysing agent behaviour in production.
- Evaluation & Guardrails: Implement automated evaluation frameworks (such as LLM-as-a-judge) and strict output guardrails to ensure agents remain safe, accurate, and perfectly aligned with enterprise business logic.
- Programming Mastery: 5 or more years of experience as a software engineer, with advanced proficiency in modern software development and building scalable APIs.
- Agentic Frameworks & Claude Expertise: Hands-on, commercial experience building complex agentic applications. Deep experience prompting and building specifically with Anthropic’s Claude is strictly required, alongside frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- SDLC & Business Processing Mindset: A proven track record of analysing complex, real-world SDLC and business workflows, and successfully translating them into technical automation or AI-driven solutions.
- Production AI Support: Proven experience supporting non-deterministic systems in production. You must understand how to monitor agent variance, manage API costs effectively across long reasoning chains, and troubleshoot unpredictable system behaviour.
- Cloud Architecture: Strong experience with cloud-native architectures and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying scalable agent workloads.
- Engineering Best Practices: Deep commitment to CI/CD, automated testing, and writing clean, maintainable code for non-standard software paradigms.
