We are URGENTLY in need of Medical Receptionist/Administrative assistant mainly to work on Saturdays Morning shift - therefore pay would also attract penalty rates for weekend work.
We are looking for a friendly, professional receptionist/Assistant to join our practice in Castle Hill and also at St Leonards.
This role will see you managing a busy front desk reception, welcoming patients to the practice, Patient data entry, supporting health care professionals as well as general administration duties.
Great customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone etiquette essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and welcoming them into our practice.
- Collecting & entering patient details into the database.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Answering telephone calls & enquiries.
- Implementing doctor's instructions
- Communicating with patients and other health care professionals/clinics in town by phone and emails.
- Administrative support and other ad hoc duties.
The Successful Candidate
- Exceptional customer service skills with previous customer service experience an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills including a professional & personable telephone manner.
- Detail-orientated.
- Good computer/software skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Ability to work as part of a multifaceted team and independently.
- Neat and professional presentation.
- Best suited for someone who worked as a university student or retail assistant with reasonably flexible academic schedule/work load.

Experience:
- Marketing/Customer service /Receptionist/ dental assistant /secretarial experience preferred.
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
