The role is intended to provide additional capability during a period of organisational change and systems improvement. It combines hands-on operational HR with responsibility for progressing several priority people systems initiatives, including improvements to the recruitment technology stack, HR systems access and security, and Cognology performance management functionality.
Key responsibilities include:

HR Advisory support across recruitment, employee conditions, REM related activities, performance management, employee lifecycle management & HR policy

Recruitment – supporting hiring managers with their recruitment needs

Payroll – support pay role providing advise across awards (SCHADS, Labour market & cleaning service awards) and all REM related activities

HR System improvements – lead HR tech initiatives partnering with ICT and vendors for Cognology, ReadyWorkforce & Vervoe

Leadership support - supervising a HR coordinator, coaching & development

HR Admin & Compliance activities as they relate to employee records, contracts and employee documentation
About you
-
Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist or HR Advisor, NFP / community services industry experience beneficial

Strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Awards & experience interpreting Award classifications and remuneration structures

Experience providing practical HR advice to managers

Experience supervising or mentoring HR administration staff
-
Experience managing recruitment through an HRIS or ATS
-
Strong stakeholder management capability
