EXPERIENCED HR/MR TRUCK DRIVER – FULL-TIME
Nice Backyard is looking for a reliable and experienced HR/MR Truck Driver to join our team in Somerton, Melbourne.
The role involves delivering landscaping and building supplies to residential and commercial sites across Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver landscaping and building materials safely and on time
- Operate tipper and other HR/MR trucks
- Complete daily pre-start checks and maintain the vehicle
- Secure loads correctly and follow all safety requirements
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch staff
- Complete delivery dockets and provide proof-of-delivery photos
- Assist with general yard duties when required
Requirements:
- Current Victorian HR or MR licence
- Proven truck-driving and delivery experience
- Experience driving tipper trucks is highly preferred
- Good knowledge of Melbourne roads
- Safe driving history
- Reliable, punctual and physically fit
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift licence is an advantage
